I enjoyed it a lot on launch, but revisiting it just reveals flaws in the superstructure for my eyes.Ī newcomer to the franchise probably wouldn't mind the changes Reach made to the overall defeat of the planet, moving it from what was originally a hopeless several hour beatdown into a grinding month long campaign of attrition. Halo Reach is overall a serious contender for my least favorite Halo game, personally. But in a nutshell, Reach is awesome and I wish more people could appreciate it for the badass and awesome game I think it is!īye bye, and thanks for listening, but most importantly, how do you guys feel 'bout Reach, and what do you agree and disagree with? I feel like this multiplayer does a great job at allowing side weapons (basically everything besides DMR) have their role in the sandbox and be just as effective!Īhaha, this wasn't meant to be a long post or anythin', but maybe I got a lil' carried away. Well, they're campaign locations, so not anything that cool. Armor abilities work awesome, maps are kinda. Multiplayer is way too hated on in my opinion, bloom makes even pressing left trigger (or for my, left click) has depth, so you're not holding trigger like a brain-dead zombie who might as well be playing Viva- Piñata. Armor abilities are awesome, sprint was introduced pretty well (as far as campaign goes), and using jetpack is some of the most fun I've ever had in a Halo campaign! The gameplay is so damn fluid, evolving in all the right areas, and bringing alongside (in my opinion) the best Halo gun, the DMR. Though the characters were awesome, Noble 6 was just as badass as Chief, I absolutely simp for Emile, and Kat's lesbian haircut is very meh!

Halo: Reach's campaign was amazing, it is the first story I've ever experienced where the focus of the story is the location instead of the characters. And because gamepass is man's greatest achievement, I installed it on my computer, and started with CE and went on from there, playing on Heroic.ĬE was very very good in my opinion, 2 was even better and I considered it a masterpiece (though the multiplayer just wasn't my forte due to the button combos and overall competitiveness, not that I'm not a fan of competitive games, but 2 on MCC is just a whole other experience), 3 blew my absolute fucking mind, with the multiplayer being the most addictive shit I've ever experienced, ODST was neat, and REACH. Now, the reason I've never really played the Halo games before is mainly 'cause I'm only 13 (thus being incapable of experiencing the golden age of Xbox Live!). Hello! So very recently, I've been gettin' into the Halo franchise! Played CE, 2, 3, ODST, then Reach (been told 4+5 aren't worth playing), and I think I've extremely enjoyed my experience with the series!
